Cthulhu Dark is a player facing, cooperative storytelling game – with a highly collaborative, writer’s room narrative style of play used to unfold the story – where both keeper and players, play to find out what happens next. The rules are incredibly short, simple and tightly focused on mystery solving and building tension and horror to drive the game. The game runs best when everyone feels comfortable offering up their ideas. It uses six-sided dice of two colours (usually black and green) to determine the outcome of risky actions. This session will provide player with pre-generated characters to choose from and add details to. A Cthulhu Dark scenario set in Lovecraft’s iconic town of Arkham in 1692, a place of witch-trials, of fear and superstition.
